Martinsville Uptown Revitalization Association, known as Martinsville Uptown, is dedicated to the continued enhancement of the Uptown central business district. It is the driving business district of our community. We want to promote Uptown Martinsville through our membership! With events, such as TGIF and the Uptown Martinsville Farmers' Market, we want to draw people into our district. Using the Walking Tour of Historic Uptown Martinsville, we can tell our history and show our potential of existing buildings. With our MURA Façade Grant, we can continue to enhance and improve these. The New College Institute, Southern Virginia Artisan Center, Studio 107, The Virginia Museum of Natural History, Piedmont Arts Association are all additional catalysts for Uptown changes. Everyone who lives in Martinsville and Henry County can help Martinsville Uptown Revitalization Association continue its good work by becoming a member!
