C-PEG thanks the community for your understanding regarding Oktoberfest and keeping our community safe and healthy! We are excited to announce the alterative event(s) that will take place of Oktoberfest will be First Fridays! We will host a series of 3 events at the Uptown Martinsville Farmers’ Market on Friday evenings to allow vendors the opportunity to sell their products. The events will take place October 1, November 5, and December 3 from 4PM to 8PM.

 

Initially, vendors will be allowed to sign up for 1 of the 3 dates. Depending on participation, vendors may be able to participate in multiple dates, but that will depend on vendor interest and will be determined at a later date. First Fridays will allow 20-30 vendors the opportunity to sell their products to the public at each event.  Please share your desired date as soon as possible to reserve your space as they will be first come first serve.

 

Vendors must comply with the same guidelines as Oktoberfest 2021. Placement will be determined by C-PEG staff and vendors will be notified of placement after securing the desired date.

 

By signing up for C-PEG’s First Fridays event, you as a vendor are allowing the information used for your Oktoberfest registration form to be rolled over and agree to release and forever discharge Martinsville Uptown, Chamber’s Partnership for Economic Growth, & M-HC Chamber of Commerce and all their staff and volunteers, and any and all other associated participants from all liabilities, injuries, or damages incurred related to or resulting from First Fridays participation.

 

Despite what the Oktoberfest rules and registrations say, if a vendor cannot attend the First Fridays event, a refund may be requested.
