Join the Piedmont Writers Group for a Creative Writing Workshop. Bring a bag lunch, your favorite pen and pad or laptop. Light refreshments will be provided.

Participants will learn to get inside a character's mind, develop conflict, use effective dialogue, write indirect characterization, show action rather than tell about it, begin a story - true or fiction and find places to send their work.

12:00-12:30 - Lunch is in the bag
12:30 - "Show, Don't Tell"
1:30 - "Publishing Tips"
