The first concert of the six month TGIF series of concerts was held Friday, April 29. The crowd of over 500 were overwhelmed by the high energy and great performance of the Pizazz band. A new addition to the TGIF band lineup, Pizazz clearly had the support of the cheering crowd and the dozens of attendees doing the "Cupid Shuffle" dance. The new food vendor garnered rave reviews as well, as the constant line of hungry party-goers attested. Ernie'sTailgate Grill, owned by Bethann Harr, is a new business - a full service kitchen in a mobile trailer. All of the entrees, from the "chubby" hotdogs covered in pork barbecue, to the "D Burger" served on a grilled donut, were very popular. The kids too had a great evening, thanks to the addition of an inflatable bounce castle. With free admission for kids 12 and under, families were able to enjoy a fun and inexpensive evening. | ||
